Press Release Summary: Bay Area Baptist Church is announcing their plans to start a
new Independent Baptist Church in the near future.

Press Release Body: Who - Pastor David Williams, a graduate of Hyles-Anderson
College in Hammond, Indiana is planning a new outreach oriented ministry in the
Tampa Bay area. Pastor Williams was seen on most major networks during the Terry
Schiavo ordeal playing his guitar and violin and even preaching on the street in
front of world wide media.

What - Bay Area Baptist Church is an old fashioned church but with a new day flair
for technology, outreach, and ministry. There are plans for soul-winning ministry,
bus ministry, youth ministry with many types of activities and clubs, college
ministry, telemarketing ministry, hospital ministry, elderly care ministry, welcome
ministry, we care ministry, jail ministry, military ministry, deaf ministry, blind
ministry, mentally handicapped ministry, Spanish ministry, homes for wayward boys
and girls ministry, family shelter for homeless families, rescue mission, elderly
care shelter ministry, truck stop ministry, music ministry that includes
professional musicians and a music conservatory for music of all instruments,
children\'s ministries in all seasons, Christian schools for elementary, middle, and
high school, advertising ministry, internet ministry, radio and T.V. ministries.
Pastor Williams has a real vision and because of his sending church in Hammond,
Indiana, First Baptist Church, he has access to trained staff to handle every one of
these ministries.

When - The hope is that with some news releases and other types of advertising there
will be enough interested families that will respond to the poll on the church web
site so that a date and place can be established by the fall of 2008.

Why - Pastor Williams and his wife have lived in the area now for the last 15 years
and have seen many changes in the Independent Baptist presence in the bay area.
Pastor David Williams feels that many of the people who loved the Independent
Baptist movement and the emphasis on soul-winning and bus ministry have been
displaced, as it were, and possibly looking for a church like this to come along.

Where - The church web site has a link entitled \"location\" and on that page
instructions are given to participate in a poll. There is a facility that Pastor
Williams is aware of on Ulmerton that would be not so far from Feather Sound to the
East.

How - The only way that a ministry of this magnitude can move forward is by the
generous giving of Christians and local businesses. It will move even faster if
everyone that reads this press release and is interested in this ministry will visit
the church web site at http://bayareabaptistchurch.com and respond to the poll or
visit our church blog site which has a link on the front page of the church web
site. Please write, or call with your name and contact information.
